Shoshana AlliceMTC, PCC, CDTLF

Counsellor and Associate

Shoshana is a Master Therapeutic Counsellor (MTC),Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator (CDTLF). She holds a master’s degree in Human Systems Intervention, and an ever-growing collection of certifications in a variety of assessments and tools. Prior to joining Living Bridges, Shoshana spent over 20 years as leadership development coach and facilitator. Several years ago, she expanded her skills and practice to include counselling therapy – identifying a need for a trauma-informed approach to her work and a yearning to bridge the artificial divide between our personal and professional selves.

Guided by a deep belief in connection as the foundation of all our relationships – with ourselves, with each other, and with the earth we steward – Shoshana is always looking for the threads that connect us. With an active commitment to Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, she is continuously seeking to uncover her own unconscious biases and unearned privileges, to create and hold safe, brave, and accountable spaces for her clients and community.

As a Relational Somatic Therapist, Shoshana works with clients to find those places of connection within themselves and with each other. She supports folx to access the wisdom of their body and their nervous system, bringing compassionate curiosity to places of disconnection. She has a passion for working with folx in relationships and is particularly interested in providing support to folx in non-traditional and non-heteronormative relationship structures. Her counselling therapy practice is informed by the principles of Somatic Experiencing®, attachment theory, Internal Family Systems and the Gottman Method.

As a leadership coach and facilitator, Shoshana coaches, mentors, and advises leaders at all levels of organizations across North America and abroad.  She has guided leadership teams through both large-scale change initiatives and smaller scale transitions – in corporate, government, education, and not-for-profit sectors, including several years in the BC healthcare system. She facilitates powerful conversations that support her clients to grow their leadership skills, build more productive relationships, leverage their strengths, and create powerful change for themselves and their organizations. Her leadership practice is informed by thought leaders such as Brené Brown (Dare to Lead),Simon Sinek (Start with Why),and Shakil Choudhury (Deep Diversity),and grounded in the intersection of theory and practice.

Shoshana is a fat, queer, disabled settler, with rainbow hair and an audacious sense of humour, living with gratitude on the ancestral, traditional, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish nations: sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish),sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh),and xwməθ kwəy̓əm (Musqueam) nations. When not coaching, counselling, or leading, you can find her deep in Lego and battles of good and evil (ie Rebels & the Empire) with her six-year-old, singing and dancing her heart out, or finding adventures big and small with her partner.
